For the owner of a valuable timepiece, a well functioning after sale service is of utmost importance.
With the disappearance of the brand from the market, the collectors value of the Ventura watches is steadily increasing.
The continued existence of the international Repair- and Service Center of Preciluxe Europe GmbH (formerly Ventura Europe) in Wurzburg, Germany is therefore good news to Ventura-owners all over the world.
Preciluxe's own master watchmaker Ralf Goldammer is most likely the only remaining professional with a complete and competent knowledge of all Ventura timepieces and versions. He and his team help collectors from all over the world to keep their precious watches in their original running condition. With a well-assorted inventory of factory-fresh spare parts, Preciluxe is usually able to bring a damaged Ventura watch back to its former beauty. Since recently, all original straps and bands are again available.
Preciluxe has furthermore gathered all remaining factory-new Ventura timepieces on the market; these watches are sold at a special price and come with an international, 2-year factory warranty. (See an updated listing on this site)

A new chapter in my professional Life
"The past can no longer be altered, but we can construct our future"
It is almost a year now, since I began to work on a project that kept on crossing my mind for almost two decades: the creation of a gent's belt.
Why a belt?
Belts are as personal as watches and perhaps even more important to men, as most would feel “undressed" going out without; a belt virtually holds a man together, it gives him safety, confidence, awareness.
Yet, among the zillions of belts offered to the markets, only a very few actually provide the quality and functions matching the aforesaid importance.
The vast majority of the current products are made of crappy, cheap materials, use a primitive pin-and-hole principle and need to be replaced ever so often. Hence, I started on a construction that would allow seamless adjustment without holes, leaving no dents and marks, thus giving the leather a much higher longevity. Then, of course I worked on the design, which I wanted to be simple, elegant and timeless. I succeeded to engage a longtime friend, former owner of the Milus Watch company and an accomplished designer, Paul Junod, as an accomplice.
Our belt buckle contains a lot of "watch know-how" in regards to precision, material, production processes and esthetics. Not surprisingly, I selected a leading manufacturer of high-end watch cases for the production of the stainless steel precision parts. And leaving nothing to chances, our final assembly in Wurzburg, Germany is done by Master Watchmakers; their diligence allows us to guarantee the quality of our buckle for 5 years.
My long experience in creating finest watchbands helped me to define the right Italian leather quality and workmanship.
Currently, our website, www.preciluxe.com features an introduction; soon, this site will feature detailed information, pictures and an online shop. Besides of belts, Preciluxe will introduce other quality items appreciated by men with taste. Woman? The Preciluxe website will help her to find the perfect gift for her guy!

Hannes Wettstein RIP
It is with great sadness that we have to report the passing away of Hannes Wettstein; he left us on July 4th after a severe illness at the age of only 50.
Not merely a designer, Hannes has shaped the corporate identity and product philosophy of Ventura for many years. While his creation of the v-matic chronometer series in the nineties has influenced many well-known watch brands, none of their succeeding products have ever reached the purity and quality of Wettstein's originals.
His digital watches v-tec Alpha and v-tec Delta have meanwhile become coveted design-icons.
Hannes always despised the word «design», which he associated with empirical, «accidental» styling; he preferred to describe his work for Ventura as «micro-architecture». It was of greatest importance to him, that his creations should have an archetypical quality. «Good design» was never a goal but always the result of logical functionality.
When it came to materials and manufacturing quality, Hannes was never prepared to compromise; instead, he charmed and convinced his partners by turning them into accomplices to achieve what he wanted.
Hannes Wettstein was a true «Renaissance man» as he reached highest competence in many widely diverse areas due to his natural and intense curiosity. He encountered the turmoils of life with quiet sovereignty but when it came down to his work and beliefs, his passion could suddenly erupt like a volcano and I will keep the heated discussions with him in fond memory.
